In less than 40 minutes, the Southport Planning Board approved three applications during their Sept. 3 monthly meeting. BILL PEARSON/Boothbay Register
On Sept. 3, the Southport Planning Board unanimously approved all three applications heard. The Department of Marine Resources received approval to replace an existing pier, gangway and float at their Burnt Island location.
Christina Koehl received approval to enclose a screened-in porch at her Pine Cliff Road location.
Lon and Kerry Sue Walters received approval for modifications and expansion of an existing cottage on their All Saints Road location.
The planning board meets next at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1 in the town hall.
