Dear Editor:

I am not sure if Mr. Muzeroll ever goes out on the roads in Boothbay region during the early morning hours, but I know I really appreciate the salt and sand they use on the roads.

I am also sure that the fishermen, contractors, patrolmen, ambulance crews and the general public, school teachers, bus drivers, students and parents are happy to see the roads safe — whatever the cost.

I think Mike and Jody both do a good job with the roads. Who are we to question their work to make the roads safe?

Mr. Muzeroll is welcome to come out and ride with us when we are out doing a rollover or another call, when you can’t stand in the road. A few weeks ago Route 27 had to be shut down, as it was so bad. So give us a call and we’ll show you why they sand and salt the roads, and you can see what life’s really all about.
