Procedure for reporting damages from the January 9-10, 2024 storm

Individuals, homeowners, small businesses, and agriculture are welcome to submit their damages to the state, using the forms, etc. below

Any and all inquiries and/or damage submissions from members of Maine’s fishing community should will serve as the intake the Business and Agriculture DA Survey for the Jan. 10 storm. Business and Agriculture Initial Damage Assessment Survey (online form):  http://survey123.arcgis.com/share/f72826c1e40d4420ad89934b553c0e82?open=menu For business and agriculture damages, the only option is to fill out the online survey.

If you struggle with the forms or survey and need someone to do it for you, contact 211 Maine (just dial 211 from anywhere in Maine) and they will go through the questions with you and submit it for you.

Keep in mind that submitting a survey or a PDF form is not an application for assistance. There is no guarantee any assistance will be available to you. The purpose of submitting your damages is to help the state determine whether there are enough damages to seek a federal disaster declaration.

Damages from the 1/9-10/2024 storm must be submitted by Thursday, Jan. 18 to be included in the totals for determining whether the state has enough damages to get a FEMA disaster declaration.
