Event Date
Saturday, March 14, 2026 - 07:30 pmPokey LaFarge is returning to The Waldo for a solo performance on March 14 at 7:30 p.m. Pokey LaFarge is an American Renaissance man — an acclaimed musician, writer, actor, and designer. Fusing the rustic sounds of the past with his wry humor and eclectic music sensibilities, singer/songwriter Pokey LaFarge is "an artful ambassador for old-time music, presenting and representing the glories of hot swing, early jazz, and ragtime blues." -NPR's Stephen Thompson
Over his 15-year career, Pokey has sold-out theaters worldwide; toured and recorded with Jack White. His music has been featured in TV shows like "Boardwalk Empire" and recently had a role in 2021's Netflix movie "Devil All the Time: alongside Robert Pattinson and Tom Holland. Following up the international success of "Rhumba Country," Pokey LaFarge is set to embark on a SOLO tour this January through March, playing an intimate set to theaters and jazz clubs throughout California and the Northeast.
He'll be reimagining songs from his nine-album catalog as well as new interpretations of gospel, rock 'n' roll and country classics. Opening the set will be Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Kyle Morgan with his distinctive conglomeration of Americana styles, from stripped-down acoustic ballads and love-lorn parlor laments to roaring alt-country and throwback '60s rock ’n’ roll.
General admission tickets are available for $30 in advance, $35 the day of the event. If this show is not sold out, tickets are available at the box office starting at 6:30 p.m. when doors open. Concessions will be available. To purchase tickets and for more information about The Waldo, parking and other upcoming events, please visit: thewaldotheatre.org.
