On Monday, July 13, at 7 p.m. at the Southport Town Hall, the Hendricks Hill Museum, Southport, presents Kevin Johnson, photographer and photo archivist at the Penobscot Marine Museum at the Southport Town Hall. Johnson will share images and insights of the Boothbay region as he discusses his recently published book, "Boothbay Now and Then:  New and Historic Images of the Boothbay Peninsula."

 

Those who are interested in coastal Maine will get a fascinating look at the region through Johnson's recent photographs set side by side with scenic postcards dating from about 100 years ago as produced by the Eastern Illustrating and Publishing Co. of Belfast.
