Boothbay/Wiscasset Boys’ cross country team finished second Sept. 19  in an eight-team Mountain Valley Conference mid-season meet. Seahawk runner Will Perkins finished third overall with a 19:17 time. Boothbay/Wiscasset scored 67 points which trailed meet winner Lisbon by eight.

Other Boothbay/Wiscasset members posting a top 20 finish were Graham Harris, fifth, 19:49; Fox Elder, 16th, 20:27; and  Rowan Kristan, 17th, 20:30. Other team results were Nathan Chatterton, 30th, 22:04; Matt Chapman, 36th, 22:26; Quinn Ranta, 38th, 22:33; Lucas Hardwick, 39th, 22:33; Caleb Gabrielle, 53th, 24:35; James Debentito Frieto, 63rd, 26:03; and Gavin Carlson, 64th, 26:43.
