Eastside Waterfront Park hosted its third annual Fishermen's Appreciation Party Sunday, Oct. 4. After rescheduling twice because of weather, the day delivered perfect conditions for a celebration in the Harbor.
Food and drink were supplied by Mine Oyster, where Ralph and Shani put on a great spread complete with an oyster bar and mounds of shrimp. The Maniacs, one of the town's favorite bands, kept the crowd singing and dancing until after sunset, which capped off one of the most beautiful sunsets of the season.
Most importantly, the event gave the community a chance to come together and recognize the hard work and dedication of our local fishermen. Eastside Waterfront Park is proud to once again celebrate these important members of our community.
The Park's Board of Directors and Advisory Board wish to thank everyone who supports the park, including donors, volunteers, and visitors, whose contributions help keep this beautiful spot available to all.
