1 ─ Wildflower Walk with BRLT ─ Botanist and Boothbay Region Land Trust volunteer Lauren Stockwell leads a leisurely guided walk at our newest preserve, Autumn View Farm from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Free, but registration required. 2 ─First Friday Art Tour ─ Final tour of 2025. Boothbay Harbor’s self-guided tour of galleries in the region. Demos, new art, refreshments! Check the listing in the Boothbay Register for participating galleries and times.
2 ─Franks ‘n Beans Supper ─From 4 to 6 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, Industrial Park Road, Boothbay. Traditional Maine-style supper of franks and beans, coleslaw, brown bread, cornbread, and a choice of pumpkin or apple pie. Bottled water and coffee will be served. Sodas will be available for purchase by vending machine. No vegetarian options. Suggested donation is $12/adults, $6/ages 5 to 12, and free/under 5. Just 100 tickets are available to be sold at the door, first come-first served.
2 ─Knights of Pythias Dance ─The Knights of Pythias, Lakeside Drive, Boothbay Harbor will be holding a dance featuring the country and rock music of All That Matters Band from 7 to 10 p.m. BYOB, $15 cover. 3 – Last Light with Maine’s Blue Collar Author ─ Celebrate the release of Jerry Farnham’s final book of the “Red At Night” series, "Last Light," Brady’s Restaurant, 25 Union St., Boothbay Harbor beginning at 4 p.m. Guests are encouraged to pick up a copy of "Last Light" prior to the event, via Sherman’s books, Amazon, or the author's website as a limited number will be available at the event.
3 ─ Scarecrow Fest─At Wiscasset Community Center, 242 Gardiner Road, Wiscasset from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Build and take home a scarecrow for $5 if you leave it, $10 if taken home. 3 ─ ARTinME Opening Reception ─ At Boothbay Region Art Foundation (BRAF) for the opening reception and awards presentation for ARTinME 2026, the juried exhibition of large format works by Maine artists. From 5 to 7 p.m. at 1 Townsend Ave., Boothbay Harbor.

3 ─ Spooky Golf Toys For Tots Benefit ─ Dolphin Mini-Golf at 510 Wiscasset Road, Boothbay. 5-9 p.m. Bring a toy, play for free, otherwise pay $7. There will be a donation jar also.
4 ─ OLQP Lobster Rolls ─ Delicious homemade lobster rolls from the Our Lady Queen of Peace kitchen: Aug. 2, Sept. 6 and Oct. 4. Pick up at 10 a.m., at the Parish Hall, 82 Atlantic Ave, Boothbay Harbor. Pre-orders accepted, call 207-633-2680. All proceeds to charity.
4 – Community Harvest Fair – Boothbay Baptist Church, 999 Wiscasset Road/Route 27 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lots of food: Italian sausage subs, hamburgers, hot dogs, fried dough, apple crisp, popcorn and snow cones. The family event will include an obstacle course, face painting, game and apple cider press. FMI: 633-7378.
4 – Fishermen’s Appreciation Party – At Eastside Waterfront Park, 68 Atlantic Ave., Boothbay Harbor from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. for live music by Maniacs, food, and camaraderie. See you there. This event was planned for Sunday, Sept. 20 and Sept. 27, but was canceled both times due to rain. If the weather doesn't co-operate this event will not be rescheduled again for this year.
4 ─ Spooky Golf Toys For Tots Benefit ─ Dolphin Mini-Golf at 510 Wiscasset Road, Boothbay, is holding a benefit for Toys for Tots the first two weekends in “Spooktober”: Saturday, Oct. 3 and 10; Sunday, Oct. 4 and 11. 5-9 p.m. Bring a toy Play for free, otherwise pay $7. There will be a donation jar also.

9 – Take-Out Bean Supper –Pickup time: From 3 to 5 p.m. Baked beans, hot dogs, coleslaw, biscuit and chocolate chip cookies will be for sale for $10 per meal. The cold meal will be packaged for individual portions and ready to heat at home. Delivery available for group quantities such as at businesses. 11 ─ Halcyon Strings ─ Featuring Alisa Amador and Halcyon Strings. A free community performance at the Boothbay Harbor Opera House, 86 Townsend Ave., at 7 p.m. Halcyon's latest multimedia performance featuring the stories and actions of Maine people who are working on the ground to build creative, regenerative, and resilient communities in response to the climate crisis. Combines live music with film, community voices, stop-motion animations and a series of vignettes.

31 ─ Haunted Library and Halloween Games! ─ Put on your Halloween costume and head over to the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library (4 Oak St.) at 3 p.m. where fang-tastic Halloween fun for the young ones awaits. Walk through the "haunted" interior and play giant-sized lawn games. The annual Halloween Parade begins at 4 p.m. Enjoy warmed apple cider while waiting for the trick or treating to begin! Route ends at the Opera House (86 Townsend Ave.) with a Trunk or Treat in the parking lot.
31 ─ Halloween Parade ─ At 3 p.m. take a walk through the haunted Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library, 4 Oak St. Play giant-sized lawn games then line up to parade through town for tricks and treats at 4 p.m.! FMI: 207-633-3112.
31 ─ Nightmare on Federal Street ─ Parade lineup at 4:15 p.m. at Wiscasset Elementary (83 Federal St.) The costumed Halloween Ghosts & Goblins Parade! So come in costume! The first 200 costumed kids receive trick-or-treat bags with goodies and safety glow bracelets. Parade starts at 4:30 down Federal Street on a trail of candy, music and costume prizes.
