Memorial Library to host virtual volunteer fair
Looking for a new volunteer opportunity? Interested in learning about amazing Maine nonprofits? Join Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library for a Virtual Volunteer Fair.
Zoom in for this virtual program on Thursday, Nov. 6 at noon to hear from representatives from nonprofits around the state who will share about the work they do and the volunteer positions they have available. Grab your lunch and tune in to learn about ways you can help fellow Mainers through volunteer positions that excite you.
We'll be joined by nonprofits from around the state including organizations in the Boothbay region, Lincoln County, and beyond:
- Community Resource Council: volunteer opportunities throughout the Boothbay region
- Healthy Lincoln County: volunteer opportunities throughout Lincoln County
- Art Van: volunteer opportunities in Bath, Brunswick, Rumford, Mexico, Lewiston, and Auburn
- Marine Mammals of Maine: volunteer opportunities down the coast from Kittery to Rockland
- Mission Working Dogs: volunteer opportunities at their facility in Oxford and at home— puppy raising!
- Out Maine: volunteer opportunities at their headquarters in Rockland and at events throughout the state
This online program is open to anyone and there is no obligation to volunteer. Come away inspired to help your community through a volunteer opportunity that speaks to you!
