MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital hosts open house at new primary care facility in Waldoboro
MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital will host an open house on Tuesday, March 10, from 4 to 6 p.m. to introduce the new MaineHealth Primary Care Waldoboro facility at 126 Depot Street. The practice opens to patients on March 16.
The new building reflects more than 15 years of collaboration between the town of Waldoboro and MaineHealth. It replaces the Mill Street and West Main Street practices, bringing them together in a single, modern location designed to improve access to primary care for residents of Lincoln and Knox counties.
“This new facility is an important step forward for the community,” said MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital President Cindy Wade. “Bringing our teams together in this new, custom space will enhance the patient experience and support the expanding needs of the region.”
Highlights of the new facility include:
-
A bright, modern design with ample parking
-
22 exam rooms, including dedicated pediatric spaces
-
Enhanced technology and telemedicine capabilities
-
Onsite lab draws for convenience
-
A Community Room for patient education and local events
The consolidated location is expected to streamline services, reduce wait times for new patients and strengthen local access to primary care.
“We look forward to welcoming the community, showcasing the new space, and introducing the care team,” said Wade.
