As we celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, we hope you’ll join us in spotlighting Maine’s own journey to independence. Explore our Maine Constitution Exhibit highlighting Article X section 5 and its tumultuous history. The exhibit includes three full-size Constitution panel replicas, reproductions of the voting returns from Edgecomb and Boothbay, and features an audio interview with Maine historian Herb Adams among other things to explore.

The exhibit runs July 21 through July 28 during open hours only.

The library is open Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.; Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
