Lorraine M. Schleis of Wiscasset passed away on Sept. 11, 2025 in Damariscotta, Maine after a courageous battle with stage 4 colon cancer.

Born on Sept. 25, 1949 to Edward and Lillian Schleis of Ivoryton, Connecticut, she lived a life remembered by those who knew her.

She loved playing Internet games and Chinese food!

She worked at RR Donnelley in Old Saybrook, Connecticut for 18 years, the Mohegan Sun, and Walmart after moving to Maine.

Lorraine was considerate of the environment and had a great love of her feline companions.

She leaves a sister, Barbara Walker of Old Saybrook, and her family.

Lorraine lived life her way. May she be remembered with a smile.
