'Lipstick and Gamblers' run at Carousel has begun
July 8 saw the opening of our first dinner theater show of our 2025, 50th anniversary season, “Lipstick and Gamblers.” We are especially proud of this production as it was written by Garrett Carter, BRHS class of 2013. This locally written and produced show features the music of Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. Their ability to tell a story through their songs perfectly fits the creative style of the Carousel Music Theater.
An evening at the Carousel, hosted by our charming and friendly cast, will go like this…as you sip on a specially crafted beverage and enjoy your meal from our new menu, the talented cast will entertain you with a lively cabaret featuring the best music from Broadway, Hollywood, and beyond. Selections from composers such as Irving Berlin, Noel Coward, and Howard Arlen, or marvelous singers of the 1940s-80s such as Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, Patsy Cline, and the Andrews Sisters could be featured.
And last, but not least, watch as the curtain goes up on our cast of young performers who will sing and dance their way into your hearts in an original review created just for your trip to The Carousel, featuring music you know and love. Now, sit back and enjoy the show!
“Lipstick and Gamblers” is playing now through the last Wednesday of July. Join us for an evening dinner performance on Tuesday, Friday, or Saturday at 6:30 or a matinee lunch performance on Wednesday at noon. Tickets are available at carouselmusictheater.org or call the box office at 207-633-5297.
