Lincoln County Sheriff's Office: 4 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 222 calls for service for the period of May 20 to May 27. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 5,237 calls for service.
Summons
Brittany J. Lilly, 37, of Dresden was issued a summons May 21 for Allowing Dog to be at Large, on Middle Road, Dresden, by Animal Control Officer Allen Oliver.
Arrests
Timothy L. Harrington, 55, of Edgecomb was arrested May 23 for Violating a Protective Order, on Merry Island Road, Edgecomb, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.
Jeffery Collins, 37, of Litchfield was arrested May 23 for Domestic Violence Assault; Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Obstructing Report of a Crime, on West Shore Road, Westport Island, by Deputy Kasey Doyle.
Timothy M. Brown, 47, of Whitefield was arrested May 24 for Violating Condition of Release, on Cooper Road, Whitefield, by Deputy Nathan Yeaton.
Zachary A. Gagnon, 45, of Augusta was arrested May 25 for Driving to Endanger; Operating under the Influence; Motor Vehicle Speeding: 30+ MPH over the Speed Limit and Eluding an Officer, on Wiscasset Road, Boothbay, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison, who was assisted by Deputy Kasey Doyle and Officer Nathan Willhoite (Wiscasset Police Department).
Accidents
On May 20, an accident occurred on Mass Avenue in Boothbay involving Regina M. Maes, 21, of Lynn, Massachusetts. Ms. Maes was operating her 2006 Mini Cooper eastbound and proceeding down a hill, when she got distracted by a water bottle falling. As a result, she lost control of her vehicle, went off the roadway on the right and hit a tree, before coming to rest against the tree. After coming to rest, Maes tried to drive back onto the roadway and slid down the hill. Deputy Samuel Alexander was the investigating officer.
On May 20, an accident occurred on Boothbay Road in Edgecomb involving Stephen W. Francis, 80, of Boothbay Harbor and a parked 2013 Toyota Avalon, owned by Linda J. Tibbetts, of Boothbay. Mr. Francis was traveling through the school parking lot in a 2017 school bus (model BBCV33) when he struck Ms. Tibbetts’ parked vehicle. Deputy Scott Solorzano was the investigating officer.
On May 21, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Helio P. De Sa, 64, of San Bruno, California. Mr. De Sa was operating his 2012 Toyota Prius northbound when a deer ran in front of him and was struck with the driver’s side front corner and front area of the vehicle. Deputy Nathaniel Aronson was the investigating officer.
