Library offers free brunch buffet on Saturdays this November
For the month of November, Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library will offer a free community “continental brunch” every Saturday. Brunch items will be available for drop-in meals from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday in November starting this Saturday, Nov. 1.
Visitors are invited to stop by the library to enjoy a free and welcoming meal featuring bagels, fruit, veggies, yogurt, granola, oatmeal, coffee, and tea. “Times are challenging,” said Joanna Breen, executive director of Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library. “This is one small way we can make sure our community feels cared for and connected. Brady’s Community Lunch starts Monday, Nov. 3. The Boothbay Region Community Resource Council maintains the Community Fridge located at the Boothbay Town office which is available 24/7.”
The library’s brunch buffet will be in the Great Room. All are welcome—no registration or library card required.
BHML also hosts a Game Night and Pizza Party on the first Friday of the month from 5 to 7 p.m. There’s a Snack Basket in the Teen section of the library and in the Kids Room, with snacks for youth anytime, a little satellite of the school’s Snack Closet.
