Join “100+ Women Who Care” for their January meeting
The leadership team of 100+ Women Who Care Lincoln County Maine invites readers to join their upcoming meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences. With a membership of 250 local women and growing, the organization serves as a conduit to provide funds to support non-profits making an impact in our area.
Attendees can expect light bites and a cash bar. The easy, relaxed atmosphere allows for an hour of socializing at the onset, with the guided meeting running from 6:00-7:00. Stepping Stones Housing will be present to receive a giant check and share how their organization allocated the funds raised from 100+ Women Who Care Lincoln County Maine’s inaugural meeting in October.
New in January, there will be an in-meeting raffle with a chance to win a tin of popcorn, courtesy of Coastal Maine Popcorn in Boothbay, a 2-hour restorative spa gift certificate to Waterstruck in Newcastle, and a “book club in a bag” with six signed copies of the novel “Love & Lobsters” and lots of swag courtesy of the author. Attendees should plan to bring cash if interested in the bar, nibbles, or raffle. There is no cost to attend the meetings. RSVPs are strongly encouraged to help the organization plan. Communications can be sent to womenwhocarelincolncountymaine@gmail.com
