Four incumbents returned nominations papers to the Southport town office prior to the Jan. 2 deadline. Gerry Gamage will seek another term as selectman. Smith Climo is seeking another term as Boothbay Region Water District trustee.

Two school committee members are seeking re-election. Marc Kurtz is seeking his first full three-year term. Adam Climo is seeking a one-year term. He is trying to fill out Kathy Tibbetts' unexpired term.

All four candidates are running unopposed. All terms, except for Adam Climo's school committee seat, are for three years.

Southport will hold its municipal election Monday, March 2.
