KEVIN BURNHAM/Boothbay RegisterDecorated caps, fun and funny gifts, class stats, history and individual prophesies are the name of the game at the annual Class Day held the morning of graduation at Boothbay Region High School.
On Friday, June 12 at 8 a.m., after the class procession onto the stage, valedictorian Sarah Harris welcomed everyone to the event.
Rose Campbell and Cameron Payson provided statistics on the class through their high school years, followed by Griffin Yereance and Tatum French providing the class history.
Aileigh Johnson and Piper McKane provided the class prophesies, followed by the fun back-and-forth presentation by class optimist Madeleine Andreasen and class pessimist Hannah Kreft.
A trio of seniors, Sophie White, Kora Johnson and Ross Gaffney, presented the gifts to their classmates.
A slide show of the seniors, mostly from their younger days, was shown on a big screen and, after the exiting procession, the seniors made their way to the elementary school for a walk through the halls to the cheers of the students there.
