Boothbay Region Clean Drinking Water Initiative is bringing "Our Blue World: A Water Odyssey" to the Harbor Theater on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. The movie is free to attend. Concessions will be available for purchase.

By taking a deep dive into the lives of dynamic and visionary people around the world, this beautiful, eye-opening, and moving film sets out to reveal our profound relationship with water and its role as the nourishing life force for all that lives on this planet.”
The Boothbay Region Clean Drinking Water Initiative, in collaboration with the Brave Blue World Foundation, is beyond excited to bring this film to the Harbor Theater. "Our Blue World: A Water Odyssey" has been the recipient of eight awards from various film festivals and is currently only available to watch at screenings in big cities and festivals.
Recognizing the need for a regional watershed conservation effort, the Boothbay Region Clean Drinking Water Initiative was formed in 2020. This unique collaboration has engaged the Town of Boothbay, the Town of Boothbay Harbor, and the Town of Southport, as well as some of the region’s most notable non-profit organizations the Boothbay Region Water District, the Boothbay Region Land Trust, the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, Bigelow Labs, the Boothbay Region YMCA in a new enterprise, whose sole goal is safeguarding the community’s water supply.
