'From Forests to Faucets' free lecture at CMBG

Wednesday, April 15, 2026 - 05:00 pm to 06:00 pmJoin Tristan Taber, Water Quality Program Director for Lake Stewards of Maine, Tuesday, April 14 from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Bosarge Education Center at Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens.
Taber will introduce the public to the organization’s work and the statewide community of volunteers who monitor and care for Maine’s lakes. Drawing upon decades of observations, the presentation reflects on insights emerging from long-term water quality records and notable findings related to aquatic invasive species detection and spread.
This lecture is the first in a two part series, “From Forests to Faucets,” brought to you by the Boothbay Region Clean Drinking Water Initiative. This series is free to the public. Participants do not need to attend all sessions (each session stands alone and participants can attend as many or few as they choose). Light refreshments will be served.
