Mark your calendars for the first annual Rising Tide Community Market Holiday Gift Show, and prepare to be dazzled by the creative endeavors of your neighbors!

You can check out a wide variety of “giftable” items on display in the Rising Tide café from December 1 through 30.

This year’s offerings include canvas tote bags and wooden wreaths by Roz Davis, felted ornaments by Kate Chandler, scarves by Phyllis Loney, cards and prints by Sarah Davis, shell mirrors by Janet Lockhart, wooden snowmen by Leslie Wicks, rugs by Bill Bellows and even a handmade surfboard by Dolf Shearer. Store hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., daily.

You’ll find a festive holiday fair atmosphere at the artists’ reception and free wine tasting on Friday, December 6 from 4-6 p.m., where you can discuss the crafts with the artists themselves!
