Dear Editor:

I want to publicly thank Maria and Andrew at Nathan's Pharmacy. Sunday morning we realized our son was out of enough  insulin to get him through the next two days.  Panic ensued.  I contacted Maria and told her the problem.  I had forgotten to pick up his prescription on Saturday before they closed.  I wasn't worried at the time because I thought he had enough. He didn't. Without that insulin he most likely would have ended up in the ER again with high sugar levels.

Andrew drove to the pharmacy and provided us the insulin. I cannot thank them enough for their thoughtful kindness. It's just one of the things that makes Nathan's special. We are so lucky to have their business in town and it is another reason living here in Boothbay exceptional.
