CMBG launches free family memberships to any peninsula family with a 3rd grade child
In September 2023, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens launched a new offer of a free family membership to any peninsula family with a 3rd grade-age child (8-9 years old). Family memberships include two named adults plus all children and grandchildren under 18. The offer is valid for families living year-round in Edgecomb, Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, and Southport, and can be redeemed any time between now and the end of June 2024. Membership is valid for 12 months from the time of redemption. To secure a membership, email bhills@mainegardens.org.
"We are so excited to welcome your family to Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens as part of this inaugural class of 3rd grade members. We hope you visit often and take advantage of our many programs and events," says Betsy Hills, Annual Fund and Membership Manager at the Gardens.
In addition to free entry to the Gardens during the regular season, the membership provides discounted rates for summer camps and classes and other benefits.
For the 2024 season, the Gardens is also offering any year-round peninsula family, regardless of school age, the opportunity to sign up for summer camps and youth art workshops ahead of the online general sale. For more information, or to reserve a spot for your child before registration opens to the public on February 1, call 207-633-8000 or email Erika Huber at ehuber@mainegardens.org. These camps do sell out.
