Thank you to our great community!

There was a kitchen fire in my apartment on July 5.

My neighbors rallied to get everyone (and their pets) safely out of the 17 apartment complex.

The fire department and ambulance arrived within minutes of the initial call..

Community Resource Council’s Community Navigator Hannah Corkum and Holly Stover, our representative to the Maine Legislature, were active in coordinating temporary housing for me.

I have lived on this peninsula since June 1972. I have made many friends in the community and at the church of Our Lady Queen of Peace. I have been a teacher, craftsperson, secretary and active volunteer.

I am looking for a place to call home in the area. If you know of any housing availability, please contact me.
