Brady’s raising funds for Alumni Association

Mon, 10/07/2019 - 10:45am

Brady’s restaurant, Union Street, Boothbay Harbor is hosting its first-ever Locals Party to benefit the Boothbay Region Alumni Association on Sunday, Oct. 13 beginning at 4:30 p.m. The proceeds will go toward the association’s annual Grand March expenses.

The event will feature live music hosted by the Road Apples of Maine (Glenn Burnham and Gordon Goldsmith).; area musicians are urged to bring your instruments and jam the night away.

For the $5 donation, BRHS alumni attendees will receive a red Solo cup with your name written on it. If you lose the cup, it’s another $5 donation to get another cup. For non-graduates, a $10 donation is urged ... lose the cup ... another $10 donation.

There will be free food  and a beer keg — in the tradition of the Giles pit parties of old — and a cash bar.

Richard Hallinan will be conducting a raffle and auction during the event.

Show your support for the Alumni Association and the great tradition of the Grand March by attending the first-ever Locals Party.
