On Saturday, Sept. 26, the Boothbay Region Historical Society will offer an Antique Appraisal Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the museum house located at 72 Oak Street, Boothbay Harbor.

Antique dealer and appraiser Mark Sisco will be available to appraise and discuss your antiques, heirlooms, and historical items. There is a limit of three items per person, and a $5 donation per item is appreciated.

Mark has been in the antiques and arts business since 1973 when he moved to Maine. After college he managed an antique shop in Boothbay Harbor with his parents. Shortly after he purchased an antique blacksmith shop and ventured out on his own. Since this time Mark has bought and sold millions of dollars’ worth of antiques and art of all kinds. He has appraised over 20,000 items, with individual values from $5 to $50,000.
