Boothbay Region Historical Society is looking for volunteers
Do you enjoy meeting new people? Would you like to learn more about local history?
The Boothbay Region Historical Society has a need for museum greeters during our busy summer season beginning June 4 through Aug. 29. Shifts are Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon or noon to 2 p.m.
As a greeter you will welcome visitors, introduce current exhibits, and offer information for self-guided tours.
The society is located within the 1874 Elizabeth F. Reed house at 72 Oak Street, Boothbay Harbor.
The society serves as the region’s memory center, housing local historical mementos, documents, and photographic collections.
Volunteers at the society strive to preserve the past while maintaining and sharing the history of the Boothbay Region.
For more information contact Connie Hartley chart@boothbayhistorical.org, or call 207-633-0820, Thursday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
