Boothbay Region Historical Society is looking for volunteers
Do you enjoy meeting new people? Do you have an interest in local history?
The Boothbay Region Historical Society has a need for museum greeters during our busy summer season beginning in June through the end of August. As a greeter you will welcome visitors, describe current exhibits, and offer information for self-guided tours.
The society is located within the 1874 Elizabeth F. Reed house at 72 Oak Street Boothbay Harbor. The society serves as the region’s memory center, housing local historical mementos, documents, and photographic collections. Volunteers at the society strive to preserve the past while maintaining and sharing the history of the Boothbay region.
The museum is open Thursday through Saturday. Greeter shifts are 10 a.m. to noon or noon to 2 p.m. For more information contact Connie Hartley chart@boothbayhistorical.org, or call 207-633-0820.
