The Boothbay Planning Board conditionally approved a request Nov. 19 to repair a recreational pier on Annable Road. Consultant Alex Rioux represented the Diane Alhstrom Trust in seeking a building permit. Rioux applied for the permit, but he is not repairing the pier. Carousel Marina is making the repairs. The lone condition is installing a debris boom. 

The property is in a coastal and residential district and shoreland overlay zone.
