The Waldo Theatre is again kicking-off the holiday season with a fun and festive post-Thanksgiving Community Sing-A-Long! The holiday favorite 'White Christmas' will be shown on The Waldo’s big screen in glorious, full-screen Technicolor, with subtitles so that everyone can sing along to the wonderful and familiar Irving Berlin score. A host, a costume contest for both kids and adults, and free interactive prop bags will ensure that every audience member has a memorable start to this holiday season.

“This is a fun way for the whole family—from kids to granny—to start the holiday season,” said Susan Hodder, The Waldo’s Executive Director. “So take a break from shopping, and come share the fun with family, neighbors and friends, sing your heart out, and don’t forget to dress up if you’d like!”

There will be prizes awarded for best “Adult” and “Kids 12 and under” costumes. Costume suggestions include dressing as The Haynes Sisters, General Waverly or Emma the housekeeper. Or, for those more creative among us, dress as a train conductor, snow, or choreography!

Every audience member will receive free raffle tickets for terrific door prizes donated by local merchants, and refreshments and snacks will be available for purchase.

Online tickets for adults are available in advance for $15, which includes a fun audience participation prop bag! Adult tickets the day of and at the door are $20. Youth tickets are available for $10 on advance.  If this has not sold out, tickets with be available at the box office starting at 3:30pm. Doors open at 3:30pm. Concessions will be available for purchase.
