COGA 03, LLC, representing Colby and Gale Inc., received conditional approval Sept. 16 to install a second 30,000-gallon liquid propane tank at the Industrial Park, Route 27, Boothbay.

The Boothbay Planning Board placed two conditions on Colby and Gale. One is showing the Watershed Protection Overlay Zone location on their map. The second is providing all of their state and federal permits to the code enforcement office.  The property is in a Commercial Corridor District and Watershed Protection Overly Zone.

In other action, Boothbay Region Water District discussed its proposal to construct aluminum sludge drying beds, an underground sedimentation and equalization tank, underground piping and internal pump and piping changes. The property is in a Water Reservoirs Protection District and Residential District, Watershed Protection Overlay and Shoreland Overlay zones.

The planning board meets next at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21 in the conference room.
