BILL PEARSON/Boothbay RegisterThe Boothbay Planning Board approved two applications Oct. 21. The board voted, 5-0, approving repairs to a 5-foot-by-90-foot recreational pier. The applicants are Mark and Amber Kidd of Boothbay. The pier is on Isle of Springs Road in a coastal residential district and shoreland overlay zone.
Jurgen Stoop and Ekaterina Salmonova of Bronx, New York received conditional approval to construct a recreational pier at their Back River Road property. The applicant must store floats off site and follow Department of Environmental Protection best demonstrated practices. The property is in a coastal residential, rural mixed use district and shoreland overlay zone.
The board meets next at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18 in the conference room.
