Wednesday was a big knitting fest in the Barn! We had our ribbed hat knitting workshop in the morning, then knitting group in the evening. In class, students learned how to long-tail cast on, purl, and were introduced to the magic loop technique! We worked with Stacy’s Spinning Haven’s gorgeous Maine raised alpaca & merino yarn.

Our next knitting workshop takes place on June 18th. We will be learning how to knit triangle shawls!! This is a great next steps project for folks who know how to do knit and purl stitches. If you need help getting up to speed- come see us during knitting group on Wednesday’s from 4-6pm.
