Harbor Fest organizer Lori Reynolds has announced the final fundraising numbers for various events held during the Sept. 2-11 festival. The Harbor Fest 5k & Half Marathon raised $5,000 to benefit the Diabetes Prevention program, offered through a partnership with the Boothbay Region YMCA, the Central Lincoln County YMCA and LincolnHealth. Fishin’ for Fashion just keeps gettin’ better!
The third annual Fishin' for Fashion Show was a huge success.
On Sept. 10, models, 37 in all, made their way up the ramp at Rocktide Inn after being dropped off from boats. They were decked out in fashions fit for a New York City runway.
The models represented 11 local merchants and 11 local designers. The fashion sense displayed in their outfits was nothing short of brilliant in its originality and style.

The fifth annual Harbor Fest came to a close with plenty of art, awards and acoustic music Sept. 11 at the Chowder House on Granary Way. On Thursday, Sept. 8, as part of Harbor Fest 2016, Ryan Leighton and BRCTV will host a happening outside in the parking lot of Camden National Bank in Boothbay Harbor.
