Dear Editor:

How appropriate, during Holy Week, that we have an illustration of power and the challenge of power, available for all to see as they enter Boothbay Harbor. On a wooden sign a large gun, similar to the one that killed 17 high school students and faculty recently, is pointed at the Congregational Church. Holy Week, when the Christian Community retells the story of power attempting to take away love, which is Jesus on the cross hoisted by the Romans. Power pointed at love! Which will win?
