Maine finally gets to be noticed among the caucuses in this year's presidential preference voting Saturday, March 5. In Boothbay Harbor and many other towns, any enrolled Republican is automatically a member of that person’s Republican Town Committee, but other communities require personal enrollment. The caucuses for all towns in Lincoln County will take place March 5 at Wiscasset High School on Route 27, a short distance north of Route 1. Doors open and registration begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 11 a.m. People may change enrollment during the first hour. Presidential preference voting starts at 11 a.m. and lasts until 2 p.m.
