Dear Editor:

When we were asked to organize  the reception for the Boothbay Region Garden Club’s Festival of Trees, we decided it would be nice to give our hard-working members a break and see if the area restaurants and caterers would help us out by providing the appetizers for the event. Their response and support was amazing and most gratifying.

We want to recognize and thank each business that contributed. They are: The Boat House Bistro, McSeagull’s, East Boothbay General Store, Robinson’s Wharf, Mama D’s, Mel’s Place, House of Pizza, The Inn at St. Andrews Village, The Thistle Inn, Laura Francis of Gallery Gatherings and Abbie Shaw of Fine Cuisine.

Their generosity made our gala event so much more special.
