Dear Editor:

On behalf of the Southport Fire Department, I would like to thank all of the people who donated items for the Fire Department Auction, participated in the auction and supported the department as a whole.

A personal thank-you as well to all the department members who gave of their time and efforts to make this a success. This is a great community event of which I'm proud to be a part.
