Appreciates support on bill

Dear Editor:
Lincoln County residents were fortunate to have Sen. Chris Johnson and Rep. Stephanie Hawke support the Aid-in-Dying legislation that came before the Maine legislature earlier this summer. LD 1270, Patient-Directed Care at the End-of-Life, missed passing by just one vote. Advocates for this important legislation are already hard at work preparing for 2017, when a new bill will be introduced.
We appreciate Sen. Johnson and Rep. Hawke for their continued support and leadership.
