Eldercare Network of Lincoln County benefits from supper
The Eldercare Network of Lincoln County will receive the designated proceeds from the second fundraising supper of the summer season to be held on Saturday, June 21 at the Edgecomb Congregational Church. The supper, sponsored by the church Mission/Outreach Committee, will be held in the wheel chair accessible church fellowship hall.
The Eldercare Network mission is to provide both residential and in home care to Lincoln County elders. The network provides residential services at Hodgdon Green in Damariscotta and in six homes in area communities, one of which is the church’s next door neighbor, Edgecomb Green, located in the former Eddy School on Cross Point Road.
The supper menu is a variety of baked beans, homemade casseroles, salads, rolls, beverages and elegant desserts. The supper will be served from 5 to 6 p.m. The charge is $8 for adults and $3 for children under age 12.
The thrift shop will open at 4:30 p.m. for browsers who come early.
The Edgecomb Congregational Church is located at 15 Cross Point Road in Edgecomb. Take Route 27 from Route 1 toward Boothbay Harbor. Go approximately one mile to the Mason Road, which bears off to the right. At the end of the Mason Road, about 200 yards, bear right on Eddy Road. The next left is Cross Point Road.
