Two Salty Dogs makes donation to Edgecomb animal shelter
On Friday, June 6, Lincoln County Animal Shelter Manager Betsy Pratt, her assistant Ben Rand, and Office Manager Carrie Koskela visited Two Salty Dogs Pet Outfitters in Boothbay Harbor to pick up a large donation and grab some needed supplies.
Two Salty Dogs donated collars, food, toys including Chuck-Its throwing toys, treats, and water bowls to the shelter, a total of three full baskets. Along with the supplies, Don Kingsbury, owner of Two Salty Dogs, gave the shelter a check for $50.
“Our carpenter, Cory Crommett with 3 C Renovations, made an awesome poop bag dispenser for the Railway Museum for free,” Kingsbury said. “We had budgeted $100 for it, but he wouldn't accept payment for it. So we donated, in his name, $50 to the shelter and $50 to Underhound Railway.”
“We are very appreciative,” Koskela said, while patting the Kingsbury's three black labs.
