Summer reading sign-up will begin on June 24 at the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library.

Big “doings” that day: The new old library will open for the first time, Windjammer Days for Wee Mateys will be held on the lawn, and the Fizz Boom Bang Summer Reading Program starts.

This summer’s theme and events explores all kinds of science topics from fun experiments to a trip to the Science Museum in Boston. If this sounds like fun come to the library on June 24, sign up and check out our beautifully renovated library.

The program is free and open to all children ages 7-12. A small fee will be charged for trips off campus. Permission slips will need to be signed for some events.
