Dear Editor:

I took the attached photograph in the Ile de la Cite in Paris, France last month. My translation of the sign is: “Imagine nine arrondissements (political divisions within Paris) in the heart of Paris without an emergency room!”

In other words, the only emergency room(s) in the heart of Paris (are) scheduled to close. Sound familiar?

I send this to you in case you would like to use it in connection with the loss of the Harbor’s emergency room. We’re not alone!
