Dear Editor:

First, The Newagen Inn. Then the Thistle Inn. Robinson's Wharf followed and finally, we completed our Y-Arts Dine 4 $'s at McSeagulls on Saturday, Dec. 7 during Harbor Lights Festival. A total of $1,400 was raised in one evening through the generosity of McSeagull’s and all of the individuals and families who came out to enjoy a delicious meal. Thank you, Ralph and Elena. Your support is much appreciated!

Y-Arts' last fundraising event is scheduled for this Saturday, Dec. 21 at 9:30 a.m. It’s the first-ever Elf Fun Run 5k and Jingle Walk. There is no registration fee. We ask instead that people make a monetary donation to Y-Arts. We have $3,000 left to raise! Invite your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to join you in exercise outdoors.

Dress warm and be ready to get in the holiday spirit.
