Keep scribbling Joe
Dear Editor:
I am an avid reader and enjoy Joe's Journal.
After reading Joe's “Three Weeks to Go,” Joe makes some attempts to throw a few salvos at both VP Harris and Trump -- but far more pin pricks and generally some half truths to derail and rail against Trump.
My gut says that Harris is an empty shell and has no clear path forward and creating her undefined and unclear stance on issues on a daily basis.
VP Harris said she would not do anything different over the past three and a half years.
Starting back in her days for SF Mayor Willie Davis, Harris is just an opportunist (as friends in California have also told me).
My humble take in this election is not just inflation but the border crisis and international relations.
For all the claims VP Harris has made about being a tough prosecutor when she was California Attorney General, locking up drug dealers and sex and human traffickers, her time as VP has likely quadrupled or made ten fold worse in making these an open market on our Southern and Northern Borders! The flood of illegals will continue and many unvetted with criminal records and terrorist intentions. Thousands of missing children unaccounted for!
It's a tough and ugly territory on the world stage and not a time of "joy." Harris would be beyond over her head in standing tough in the challenges we face. Would Iran or China or Russia take her seriously as she creates a Woke military here at home?
Not easy, I get it about Trump.
For now I plan to hold my nose and vote for Trump, in being the lesser of two evils to choose from.
Joe, keep scribbling so we can more often agree to disagree.
