Dear Editor:

I would like to publicly thank the many hands that went into planning, preparing and carrying out yet another wonderful Trunk or Treat event at Boothbay Baptist Church on November 1. (Yes, as many of you know, we had to use our rain date.)

The following are members and businesses from the community who donated either their time or various items such as food, money, candy, bounce houses, etc.: Boothbay Fire Department, (Chief Dick Spofford, Alex Arsenault, Joe Hall and John Long), Boothbay Railway Museum, Hannaford, Ice Cream Hut/Dolphin Mini Golf, Compass Rose, Brian and Alicia Palotta, Stephanie, and Andy and Leisha MacDougall.

I also want to thank the following Boothbay Baptist Church members for their participation, either providing a trunk, supervising children, grilling hot dogs, etc.: Pastor Steven Nash, Mark/Pam Kamen, Mike/Carline Roberts, Justin Fowlie, Al/Becky Roberts, Shaun/Maggie Brown, Kim Hilgendorf, Karen Lawless (and her teens), Vickie and Gary Pinkham, Jason/Brigitte Schlosser, Tim/Robin Beck, Jon/Doris South, Daniel/Terri Bates, Linda Cusamano, John VanDyke, Jeff Keyes, Dan/Tammie Cusamano, Shawn/Sarah Cusamano, Jamie House, Angela Pinkham, Alan/Martha Reed, Phil/Jamie Smith, Richard/Joanne Cain, Sam/Margaret Michael, Brenda Desrosiers, Jaidan Schlosser, John Michael Roberts, Stan Lewis, Chris/Naomi Dickinson, and Jon/Erica Dickinson.

Please forgive me if anyone was omitted, not my intention. Also, MaryAnn Nash and Rae Lawson are deserving of great praise due to being my right hand women in preparing for such an event. Without their help it would not have been possible. And finally, we would like to thank the community members who attended our event.
