Grateful to Lincoln County Healthcare
Dear Editor:
On behalf of Jackie Buttimer, her family and friends we want to thank all the physicians, nurses, hospitalists, technicians and ambulance paramedics and transporters for the skill and concern that they displayed when she had a fall upon arriving on the peninsula last month for the first time since she owned a home here.
Jackie feels that it was because of her excellent care by Dr. Murray, the ER physician, Dr. Zaidi, the orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Mainella, who assisted him, and all the attentive nursing staff, too many to mention and we might accidentally forget someone, that she has had such a successful recovery.
She also is very appreciative of the time and interest Cindy Wade, the Vice President of Operations for Lincoln County Healthcare, took to insure that she could be transferred to St. Andrews for rehabilitation until she was able to fly home; in fact, Jackie was the last patient to be discharged from St. Andrews and the staff made sure she got excellent care right up until the time she left the hospital, even though it was close to the day they would close as such.
Overall Jackie, as she expressed to us, had a very positive experience throughout the Lincoln County Healthcare system, both at Miles and St. Andrews, and wanted to express her gratitude to each and every person who cared for her.
