Dear Editor:

It’s my impression that prompt medical attention is often wanted at night when doctors’ offices are closed and our new urgent care center is also closed.

Is it possible that the case load at the urgent care center may not turn out to be sufficient to justify its operation, which was the rationale for closing the emergency room at St. Andrews Hospital.

If LincolnHealth is so intent in providing medical services to the community, why isn’t the urgent care center open 24/7?
