In the October 10 issue of the Boothbay Register, (Boothbay Town Manager) Jim Chaousis provides some information about the benefits of TIF districts in Boothbay.

More information is needed in order evaluate the data. What is the time period for the increase in property value of TIF #3?

What were the annual and total costs to the town, county, state and federal governments for creating the three districts, including any utilities?

Did the town have to borrow to prepare the sites and provide any utilities?

Given the additional information, one could get an idea of the benefits and costs associated with Boothbay's TIF #3, East Boothbay Village and Barters Island.
