This is a letter to you, Mr. Gelarden.

One of the most important issues facing the residents of the peninsula is the future of St. Andrews Hospital.

In the August 8 issue of the Register you placed the article of the group working to continue the existence of St. Andrews Hospital, not on page 1, 2, or 3, but on page 10. Articles written by or about Lincoln County Healthcare are always placed on page 1.

The mission of a small community newspaper is to serve and work in the best interest of the people of its community (ref. the head of your paper).

Sadly, with all due respect, as far as saving St. Andrews Hospital is concerned, you have failed us.
